Following the sunset of E3, the Entertainment Software Association set out to create something entirely new: an executive-level platform that could bring the interactive entertainment industry together with leaders across business, technology, media, sports, and culture.
Inkling partnered with ESA to build iicon from the ground up, leading the strategy, brand development, programming, creative, and production of the inaugural event at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
Over two days, iicon brought together senior leaders for candid conversations exploring the growing influence of interactive entertainment across industries. Programming featured executives and innovators from Electronic Arts, Take-Two Interactive, Riot Games, Ubisoft, Amazon, Warner Bros. Games, Mastercard, Roblox, YouTube, and more, spanning topics from business and technology to culture, creativity, and social impact.
Beyond the stage, Inkling designed the complete attendee experience, translating the new iicon identity across environments, content, networking, and hospitality to create a cohesive platform built specifically for a senior executive audience.
The result was more than a new conference. iicon established a new way for ESA to convene the industry, creating a space for the relationships, ideas, and cross-industry conversations shaping the future of interactive entertainment.
